What is the EQi2?
The new EQ-I 2.0 provides the best, most scientifically proven Emotional Intelligence assessment tool available.
What the EQi2 does
The Emotional Quotient Inventory is a self-report measure that consists of 133 items and takes approximately 10-20 minutes to complete. The measure explores a number of constructs based on the initial BarOn model of Emotional Intelligence. It gives an overall EQ score, wellbeing indicator, five composite scale scores and 15 subscale scores. More specifically:
Self-Perception - the “inner self”
Self Regard - To accurately perceive, understand and accept oneself
Emotional Self-Awareness - To be aware of and understand one’s emotions
Self-Actualisation - To strive to achieve personal goals and actualise one’s potential
Self-Expression - outward expression or the action component of one’s internal perception
Emotional Expression - Openly expressing one’s feelings verbally and non-verbally
Assertiveness - To effectively and constructively express one’s emotions and oneself
Independence - To be self-reliant and free of emotional dependency on others
Interpersonal - develop and maintain relationships based on trust and compassion
Interpersonal Relationships - To establish mutually satisfying relationships and relate well with others
Social Responsibility - To identify with one’s social group and cooperate with others
Empathy - To be aware of and understand how others feel
Decision Making - the way in which one uses emotional information
Reality Testing - To objectively validate one’s feelings and thinking with external reality
Impulse Control - To effectively and constructively control emotions
Problem Solving - To effectively solve problems of a personal and interpersonal nature
Stress Management - how well one can cope with the emotions associated with change
Flexibility - To adapt and adjust one’s feelings and thinking to new situation
Optimism - To be positive and look at the brighter side of life
Stress Tolerance - To effectively and constructively manage emotions
Wellbeing Indicator – Happiness - An indicator of emotional health and wellbeing, rather than as a subscale of any one area in particular

Following this two day program, you will become licensed to administer, score and interpret the EQ-I 2.0 measure. It enables you to confidently use the EQ-I 2.0. for recruitment, coaching, training, team development and succession planning / talent management.
